Thanks for stopping by my blog. It's funny you mention that it's nice to find someone who uses bacon grease (I actually only use it for this recipe, LOL)--because I think it's nice to find someone who likes soft-boiled eggs! I haven't bought organic in a long time, but I think I may just treat myself next time I need eggs. You are so right to say there's a difference. I remember them having a much richer flavor.
Great going with your grocery shopping. As I've been stocking up (I've been a member of the site grocerygame.com for about 3 years now), I'm finding my lists are shorter and shorter. I sometimes have to stop and take inventory of what I have on hand already--or I end up with 5 jars of mayo and not a single bottle of vinegar, LOL!
And you are so right about stopping to play with your daughter. Mine is 23 and our times together are much more rare. (She still lives at home.) We enjoy going to lunch together and shopping, and we'll sit and chat like 'girlfriends.' I think this all starts when they are young. While on the one hand, you are a mother, not a friend, on the other hand there has to be some kind of 'friendship' between you growing up, because this will keep you close forever. (I think that might have been a run-on sentence, LOL!) Of course, I also enjoy time with my 3 boys, who are 17, 21 and 25! (Boo hoo--the 25 year old is looking for a house. My first chick is about to fly!)
Hope you stop by again!

Wow, what a obedient move. You can very encouraging me by actually obeying, and not just talking about it. I have also had this conviction for awhile. Right now my kids are doing household chores while I am on the computer. Something is not right! I need to re-evaluate big time. But I do need to read the dollhouse thing. Big time! I have enjoyed your blog (and emailing you), and will check back in from time to time. Wendy Clark
